Sow Seeds
16 Mar to 14 MaySow seed thinly on the surface of moist seed compost around 16th March - 14th May and press it in lightly. Do not cover deeply, as mint seed needs light to get going.

Pot On Seedlings
6 Apr to 18 Jun Dates as each sowing reaches this stageWhen seedlings are large enough to handle from 6th April, prick them out into small individual pots. Keep them just moist and grow them on in a bright place.

Plant Out
4 May to 16 JulMove plants into their final pots from 4th May, using free-draining compost and a container with good drainage holes. Water in thoroughly straight after planting and keep the compost lightly moist while roots settle.
