11 Mar to 9 MaySow seed thinly on the surface of moist seed compost around 11th March - 9th May and press it in lightly. Do not cover deeply, as mint seed needs light to get going.

1 Apr to 13 Jun Dates as each sowing reaches this stageWhen seedlings are large enough to handle from 1st April, prick them out into small individual pots. Keep them just moist and grow them on in a bright place.

Plant Out
29 Apr to 11 JulMove plants into their final pots from 29th April, using free-draining compost and a container with good drainage holes. Water in thoroughly straight after planting and keep the compost lightly moist while roots settle.
