2 Mar to 30 AprSow seed thinly on the surface of moist seed compost around 2nd March - 30th April and press it in lightly. Do not cover deeply, as mint seed needs light to get going.

23 Mar to 4 Jun Dates as each sowing reaches this stageWhen seedlings are large enough to handle from 23rd March, prick them out into small individual pots. Keep them just moist and grow them on in a bright place.

Plant Out
20 Apr to 2 JulMove plants into their final pots from 20th April, using free-draining compost and a container with good drainage holes. Water in thoroughly straight after planting and keep the compost lightly moist while roots settle.
