What to do through the growing season

3 Apr to 17 MayPlant young plants around 3rd April - 17th May in a sunny, free-draining spot. Set them at the same depth they were in the pot, space them apart, and water in thoroughly straight after planting.

Water Until Established
3 Apr to 14 Jun Dates as each sowing reaches this stageKeep the soil evenly moist from 3rd April through 14th June while the roots settle. Water at the base in dry spells, especially in containers, but avoid leaving the compost sodden.

Deadhead Flowers
17 Jun to 25 OctStart deadheading from 17th June and keep going until 25th October. Remove faded blooms back to a side shoot or leaf joint to keep the plant flowering for longer.
