    Prick out seedlings into individual pots once they have true leaves, around 7th April - 29th April. Handle carefully to avoid damaging the stems.

    Harden Off Plants

    28 Apr to 20 May Dates as each sowing reaches this stage

    Harden off plants over 7-10 days around 28th April - 20th May to prepare them for outdoor conditions.

    Transplant Outdoors

    7 May to 21 May

    Transplant seedlings to their final position around 7th May - 21st May. Space them apart and firm the soil well around each plant.

    Install Pest Protection

    Cover plants with fine netting and fit brassica collars immediately after transplanting to protect against common pests.

    Harvest sprouts from the bottom of the stalk upwards through 8th December - 6th February 2028. Pick them when firm and about walnut-sized. Cold weather often improves the flavour.
