    Plant young plants around 28th January - 29th March in a sunny, free-draining spot. Set them at the same depth they were in the pot, space them apart, and water in thoroughly straight after planting.

    Water Until Established

    27 Feb to 27 Mar

    Keep the soil evenly moist from 27th February through 27th March while the roots settle. Water at the base in dry spells, especially in containers, but avoid leaving the compost sodden.

    Deadhead Flowers

    13 May to 1 Dec

    Start deadheading from 13th May and keep going until 1st December. Remove faded blooms back to a side shoot or leaf joint to keep the plant flowering for longer.

    Cut Back Stems

    After flowering finishes, cut back tired stems from 17th November to 31st December. Leave the crown intact and trim to tidy growth rather than cutting hard into the base.
